2012 KOPKIND / CID Filmmakers Retreat: Applications Open!
We are pleased to announce a call to independent documentary filmmakers who would like to participate in a week long seminar and retreat in southern Vermont. The Center for Independent Documentary and the Kopkind Center are sponsoring this week-long retreat limited to nine filmmakers along with special invited guests.

Wallace Henry Coberg (April 30, 1948 – November 18, 2011)
Wallace “Wally” Coberg passed away suddenly Friday, November 18th at his home in Baltimore, the result of apparent heart failure. At the time of his death Wally was by his own proclamation the happiest he had ever been in his life. He had found new love and new purpose and will be remembered by all who loved him for a contagiously unbridled passion for life and his work.

The organizers for this year’s seminars are creating some very exciting panels to take place during Pride of the Ocean- May 29th to June 5rd, 2011 from New York City to Bermuda on the Norwegian Gem.
