Chet Atkins, the legendary Nashville guitarist and producer, once said that Lenny was “the greatest guitarist who ever walked the face of the earth.” His brilliant musical talent as a guitar virtuoso was, however, often overshadowed by his chaotic and tragic private life. Taking an intimate look into the many facets of Lenny’s life and music.

The film follows Lenny from his beginnings as the child prodigy, “Lone Pine Junior, Guitar Wizard” throughout the rise and fall of his recording career, his descent into drug addiction and the mysteries surrounding his death. Twenty-five years after his tragic, still unsolved murder, Lenny is regarded as one of the most influential guitarist of the 20th century.
