The Massachusetts Production Coalition (MPC) presents the first-of-its kind, industry-wide Massachusetts Media EXPO at WGBH Studios in Boston. The day-long event will feature 50 top industry exhibitors, a Keynote Panel of distinguished speakers, workshops and a premiere screening of “Whitey Bulger: The Making of a Monster”. A cocktail reception follows the film screening from 6:00 to 7 PM.


CID is a founding member of the MPC and will have a table at the EXPO.  Please look us up!

Casting Seminar 

A panel of casting experts, including the head of the Screen Actors Guild in Boston, Dona Sommers, and Angela Peri, the founder of Boston Casting, will demystify the process and provide valuable and insightful information about breaking into and staying in the business.

Directing Seminar 

Screenwriter and director James Mottern will speak about his recently directed Boston crime drama God Only Knows, filmed on location in Rhode Island and Massachusetts with a star studded cast including: Ben Barnes (Chronicles of Narnia), Harvey Keitel (Mean Streets, Taxi Driver), Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl), and Toby Jones (Infamous, The Hunger Games).

Premiere Screening & Panel Discussion (Yawkey Theatre) 4:30 PM

Northern Light Productions presents a premiere screening of the MA produced documentary in advance of the national broadcast on Discovery ID this Spring.  This exclusive showing will be followed by a Q&A session with the directors, author Dick Lehr (author of Black Mass: The Irish Mob), Discovery ID Executive Producer John Terp, and WBUR reporter David Boeri.
