Kopkind 2011 Grassroots Film Screenings
Each year the Kopkind Grassroots Film Screenings takes place during the CID / Kopkind Filmmakers Retreat & Seminars near the end of the retreat. The screenings are open to the public with the Kopkind Retreat Filmmakers in attendance.

Coexist, a film about how people live together, and with themselves, in the aftermath of genocide; nominated by the Africa Movie Academy Awards for best documentary, with filmmaker Adam Mazo.

Left On Pearl, a film about the 1971 takeover of a Harvard-owned building in Cambridge, Mass., for what would become the first women’s center in the country, an action that embodied many of the hopes, glories, conflicts and tensions of Second Wave feminism, with filmmaker Susan Rivo and special guest Sue Katz, author, activist and former Guilford resident who was involved in this historic occupation.
